We’re all craving something

And those cravings need to be met with some type of resolution. In this case, re-writing a script and ramen.

But not just any ramen –really good one. Not the pre-packaged ones seemingly abundant during the college years, but the ones from Japanese restaurants that greet you with a loud, “Irasshaimase!”

I spent a portion of my day today taking a red pen and going to town on a script called “LINT” that we at Square Marden are looking to produce. This morning I received an e-mail from a DP friend of mine, who I’ve been wanting to work with, indicating that she liked the story and would like to meet up to continue talking about it.

The rough part now is turning what was specific story with broad elements into a juicy story worth shooting and sharing. After reviewing some of my notes, I look to be on track. I’ll be chiming back on this project soon. But feel free to follow us on Twitter for immediate news on it, or if you have any questions.

Straight after work I linked up with Richard and suggested ramen for dinner. Between the time of day and the awfully wet weather, ramen sounded like the perfect thing.

I recommended this place out in Mountain View called Ramen House Ryowa which I’ve had on several other occasions. I quite like its quaint and somewhat cramped quarters.

The main thing is, the food is consistent; Not too cold, not too hot. Just right. And the broth is tasty. If you find yourself in Mountain View and you’ve got a hankering for ramen with a nice touch of atmosphere, drop by this place.

I ordered the tonkatsu and it appeared on the table in a jiffy. It might have been the fact that it was right in the middle of the dinner rush. Just a heads up. The rest of the night was spent reviewing other Square Marden projects with Richard.

We’re really excited to have the ball rolling on a few of our film projects, and miscellaneous community related ventures. Can you tell?
